Venture Risk Management is a leading security consulting, due diligence and logistics support provider offering solutions to international companies, NGOs and governments which enable them to operate in and remote areas throughout Africa.

Venture Risk Management has grown rapidly since it was established in 2009 and has offices in the UK, Tunisia, eastern and West Africa; and fully vetted partners across the entire continent.

Investing in Africa brings with it many risks; risks to personnel, to assets and to reputation. By working closely with our clients, we identify the potential risks to each specific operation and agree on mitigation measures, bringing flexibility to every project.

We specialise in operating in areas of diminished local governance and infrastructure; and have developed particular expertise in supporting the exploration and extraction sectors.

The company works to international standards in the areas of Health, Safety and the Environment and our service provision is divided into three core areas: risk management and security consulting, Conduct Due Diligence, and remote site logistics.

“The services rendered by VRM were of excellent quality. The operation went very well due in no small part to the support received from VRM, in particular their project management team. VRM were quick to react to changing circumstances and consistently went above and beyond their contracted agreement.”

“Across our business we have many people who support us in delivering our plans safely. Some exceptional people go over and above what is expected of them. VRM is one of them; displaying extraordinary safety commitment with outstanding behaviours and ideas in the areas of observation, intervention, compliance and collaboration.”

“Venture Risk Management ultimately made all our lives a lot easier during the exploration phase of an extremely remote site in Tanzania. The VRM team had prior experience in working in such sites, had a welcome positive attitude and just got on with getting the job done well, and this included a full security plan, local intelligence and premium guarding. They also carefully implemented solid security processes as we scaled up to production.”
